Dan Scott

Dan Scott is a freelance illustrator based out of the Kansas City, Missouri area. The majority of his work is full color illustrations but he does some concept art as well. His art tends to have a fantastic theme. While that usually means fantasy art, it also includes science fiction, comic book, horror, or any genre that allows him to paint "larger than life" scenes. He's been fortunate to get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including concept art for video games, novel covers, comic book interiors and covers, t-shirts, puzzles, trading card games, and more. rk post

A farmboy from Illinois with a gift for sketching, rk post was planning on a career as a veterinarian until illustration finally took over in his extensive college experience. By his graduation from Northern Illinois University in 1994, rk post was freelancing for the fantasy gaming industry doing interior illustration for several major game companies, gradually teaching himself how to paint with acrylics and eventually oils. rk garnered a staff illustration position at TSR and after its acquisition, continued in this capacity with new parent company Wizards of the Coast painting cover illustrations for games and novels. Passionate about expanding his skill set, rk moved into 2D and 3D art for videogames in addition to his freelance illustrations for Magic the Gathering and other franchises. He currently works as a self publishing entity, so please follow him on your preference of his social media platforms to see what's up and coming! Website: www.rkpost.net
